NFL Week 14 Weather Updates: Mild wind, lack of rain & snow in forecast eases fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions

Last week saw one of the most weather-affected games of the season, as both the Bills and Patriots effectively had their passing offenses shut down because of high winds. It’s easy to expect the Week 14 NFL weather forecast to feature more ugly conditions, but overall, this might be one of the more peaceful weeks since Halloween. RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth is here to help us break down the weather updates you need to know ahead of your fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

Before we get into the Week 14 forecasts, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don’t hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Raiders @ Chiefs. Winds in the 15-20-mph range are never fun, but they’re unlikely to have a big effect on your fantasy decisions. If you’re really worried, you might want to skip the kickers here, but even that isn’t completely necessary.

WEEK 14 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo

Ravens @ Browns. Here’s another game with potentially minor wind issues, as gusts could hit around 15 mph. Overall, that’s more than manageable for all players.

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Saints @ Jets. More light wind here (10-13 mph). We only mention it because the QBs aren’t the greatest, so give a slight bump to the defenses.

Bills @ Buccaneers. There’s around a 20-percent chance of rain and winds around 10 mph. Unless the forecast gets considerably worse, there’s no weather-related reason to bench any of the players in these high-powered offenses.

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Bears @ Packers. This will be the coldest game of the week, with temperatures around the freezing mark, but with no precipitation expected and winds around 12 mph, there’s nothing major to worry about.
