A young Queens mother was charged Friday with the murders of her six-week-old twins inside their NYCHA apartment, cops said.
Danezja Kilpatrick was hit with multiple counts of murder, acting in a manner injurious to a child and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.
Kilpatrick’s infants — Dakota and Dallis Bentley — were found at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday during a police wellness check at an apartment in the Woodside Houses at 51st Street at 32nd Avenue, police said.
The baby boy was found first inside the crib with what appeared to be stab wounds, police sources had told The Post.
When cops questioned Kilpatrick about the baby girl, “She pointed towards the sink,” NYPD Housing Chief David Barrere said at a Thursday night press briefing.
Police then found her wrapped in pink blanket under the kitchen sink, according to cops and sources.
Both babies were pronounced dead at the scene.
The mother told cops when taken into custody, ““I can’t take it anymore,” according to sources.
